I was really tempted to call today "Mumford Monday". Today's song is 'After the Storm' by Mumford & Sons from their 2009 album Sigh No More. I've mentioned before that they are probably my favorite band of all the time. No matter my mood, I'm always up to listen to one of their two albums. So with Emily's help we decided on After the Storm. We both listened to it when we were having rough patches in our life. I can promise, this won't be our last song by them. They accompany overcast Mondays perfectly.
Fun fact: Marcus Mumford was born in America (California) while his parents were visiting missionaries for The Vineyard (an evangelical Christian movement that focused on worship music). He was raised in England, though.

"And after the storm,
I run and run as the rains come
And I look up, I look up,
on my knees and out of luck,
I look up."
"And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair."
